Artist's Description

Monarch butterfly on a Chaste tree bloom.
The Monarch butterfly is a milkweed butterfly in the family. It is perhaps the best known of all North American butterflies. Since the 19th century, it has been found in New Zealand, and in Australia since 1871, where it is called the wanderer. About Marcia Breznay

Marcia Breznay

While I have had no formal training, I have learned a great deal from a wonderful artist and teacher at our local community college whose encouragement and love of all art has given me wings and for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you find...
